The Hero Blend - Daniel Anderl 1 lb (16 oz)

The Hero Blend honors the memory of Daniel Anderl, the son of United States District Court Judge Esther Salas and criminal defense attorney Mark Anderl, who was tragically murdered on July 19, 2020 by an armed assailant disguised as a FedEx delivery man in a targeted attack at their home. Proceeds from the sale of The Daniel Anderl Hero Blend will benefit the newly established food pantry called “Danny’s Pantry” at the Federal Courthouse on 50 Walnut Street in Newark, which was created in remembrance of the fourth anniversary of Daniel’s tragic death. The pantry is open to participants involved in the District's problem-solving courts which are aimed at helping defendants rehabilitate and avoid recidivism. 
This pantry not only alleviates the burdens faced by poverty-stricken families and individuals, but also allows the Court to become more connected to the community it serves.
