A special and rare hurricane lantern: the Feuerhand 176, featuring the distinctive Pilzkopf (mushroom‑shaped top) and original marked glass. This model is not often seen, especially not in this kind of condition. The mushroom‑shaped top makes it an especially striking and uncommon piece.
Much of the original green paint is still present, and the markings on the glass are still very clear.
The globe lifter is located on the outside of the lantern and stays firmly in place.
Naturally, it shows light signs of age, which only add to its character. A beautiful addition to any collection, but also perfectly usable as atmospheric lighting in the home, garden, or while travelling.
